Hi, I'm glad to have found your blog. I haven't been to Belarus but I did spend a few months in Chisinau (Moldova) last year. This picture reminded me of Chisinau as it too has a couple of buildings (actually a couple of blocks of flats as you first reach the city from the airport) known as "The Gates of the City".
